I had submitted the online application and since there is 60-day peroid to submit all documents - I won't have them ready by them. I was wondering if it was okay to cancel the application for now, and reapply when I have everything ready - or would it be possible to have an extension?

At some point after Jan 3rd you will get a phone call from the local CFRC asking you to bring in your documents (which ones will you still be missing by the way? Depending on what it is, you may be able to go in and open a file without and bring it in later)

If you are not ready to submit them, simply say so when you get the call (or call back if they have left a message) and a note can be placed on your file to keep it open even though you haven't yet gone in.

what i did was do an online application filled out the paperwork i had to brought it into the local CFRC and a week later i had a call to do my CFAT,medical and interview
