Hello all,
I have been going through the forums trying to find an answer to my question, but there seems to be a few conflicting answers. So I am probably repeating a question, and I do apologize for that.
My physical is scheduled in three weeks. I was on perscription anti-anxiety to medication and had some problems with OCD. I have been off of my medication successfully for the last four months and have had no issues. I plan on informing the MO, but my concern is my medication has been known to show up on drug tests at PCP. So my questions are:

1) What are they testing for in the urine?
2) Will I have issues if they do drug testing and it displays a false positive for PCP

Thank you in advance for your help!

There was no urine test in my medical, but I am told that in some case there is. The best solution would be to get the doctor who filled your prescription to write you a confirmation that your medication may cause a false positive on PCP. Besides, you will fill a form for drug use. I'm sure someone more aware of the CF's urine tests procedures will be able to answer the other part of your question.

Just go there and do the exam. If there's a problem, they'll tell you. Plus I believe certain medications the CF requires that you're off them for a minimum 6 months or 1 year.
