Question about the registration to the Reserves

I have a couple of questions that I hope you can answer. Well first of all, I'm interested in joining the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada.I called in and they told me that they weren't open for registration until April 13th, is that true? Secondly, is it possible to get the registration forms before they start taking applications again?

It isn't a "registration".  Anyways at this time there are probably few(if any) Reserve units with openings.  The QoR recruiter wasn't telling you a lie,  it is very likely they have no open positions.  More spots may open up in the new fiscal year, 1 April 2013.  By April 13th did you mean 13 April or April 2013?

You can probably get the forms,  but not sure if they will accept new applications at this time.  If you were speaking with the recruiter why didn't you ask him/her this question?

Also,  the unit may be stood down now,  not sure if there will be any staff working during the holidays.  Might have to wait till January to get the paperwork.

Can the forms on the website (full time applications) also be submitted to the Reserves, or are they separate? I can't seem to find forms specifically for the Reserves.

Look very carefully at the form.....If you can't read the form, how can you be expected to read the fine print.....and notice Part B clearly asks if you want to join the Regular Force or the Reserves.
