Your unit will dictate your allowance based on your geographical area. Most will not turn you down if you are a regular worker, but they will most likely deny your commuters assistance if there is a unit closer to you.
Also as of now bmq is offered on weekends, throughout the summer, and as a high school co-op.
There is little difference in the regular force BMQ and the PRES BMQ. The best way to look at REG/PRES courses is that they generally encompass the same material (budget and ammunition allotment varies) but the intensity and time is very different.
A PRES BMQ may cover 20 things within a month, whereas the REG BMQ will cover those 20 things over many many months, thus you learn the same things but the regular force course offers it in much more detail and at a high standard
