Usual reminder: According to Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms, "Any person charged with an offence has the right .... to be presumed innocent until proven guilty according to law in a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal."

This from the RCMP: "Terrorism Peace Bond Issued in 3-D printed firearms case" - with this from MSM ...

The chap's FB account still seems up as of this post - interesting reading ...

Thanks for more of the rest of the story - ouch!

Oof. I vaguely remember that.

It's probably a good thing this isn’t the typical response from people pissed off at VAC. I don’t know if the courts could keep up with the cases.

We were always told no matter what happened to you, you are responsible for your actions.

No one else. There maybe mitigating circumstances but you alone are responsible.
I’m curious what this dude’s service looked like. He’s been in and out of trouble for a lot of years now. Not sure what trade/unit he was or if he deployed at all. All I saw in one article was a reference to PTSD from a ‘shell’ exploding near him during training.

Good Lord, that article spent an awful lot of time saying things like rare for Atlantic Canada and PEI remains safe.

Surely the people of the east coast aren't so delicate as to not assume there's criminals in their midst doing criminal stuff?

Ever been here ? Sunday shopping was the apocalypse 20 years ago.

I have, but I didn't get that impression from the people I met. I have nothing but good things to say about the time I've spent in Atlantic Canada (minus Gagetown)
