Re enlistment time frame

Hello,
I released from the army a year ago after serving 5 years in the infantry (reg force). I am now interested in re enlisting, but in the navy (bosn) instead of my qualified MOC. When I originally enrolled in 2008 it took 3 months from the time of application until I finished all of my screening and received my offer. I was wondering if I could expect the same sort of time line on a re enlistment.

Unfortunately the Navy trade you have suggested (BOSN)  is not currently hiring.  Re-enlisting time may be similar, but that is  dependent on your trade choices. A verification of your previous time served will have to be conducted.  There may be the possibility that your last CFAT testing may still be valid. If not you will need to redo it. Every situations is different, so timings on completing your application are hard to predict.
