How long does it usually take after you complete QL3 INF. until you can take the Recce course or for that matter any other advanced courses?

It doesn‘t matter, I took an MG course a month after finishing my QL3. It is just trying to get on the course that can be a bugger.

Or 4 years and counting, and I‘m in a freakn Recce Regiment!!

I can‘t complain I guess, did my 2‘s and 3‘s during the summer in Pet, was on my QL4 driver/conversion that November and the following November started my QL4 Gunnery. 3 years, dual qualified and still a Trooper, not bad. Now I‘m pretty much useless to my Regiment.
