Sorry I‘ve read too many other follow-ups in between.
Obviouslt the soldier has already stated his verbal to the CO and the CO has appointed an AO. But the soldier still has the right to ask for a person of his choice to assist him/her in drafting up the redress. If he/she is not happy with the AO then ask for another.
Otherwise the process is a simple memo with two paragraghs: What factual information is the grievance based on and what does the grievor want done to rectify the situation. Extra points for good staffing. Just be clear and concise getting to the point.
No need for a service paper.
