$3.55 per gallon today in Eugene, Oregon. Here in the USA we keep hearing that the weak dollar is contributing  to the high price of fuel. Iron Duke, is it staying pretty stable in Europe, or is your price rising fast too?

cheers, Mark

Here is a sample..

I'm pretty sure those "Australian roadtrains" never go in reverse gear.  ;D

Jack Knife anyone? I sure don't want to button turn one of those either!

Regards,
Schultz

While we don't see road trains of Aussie proportions, we do have the "pup" version here in Canada.
Ungainly at the best of times, the transport companies have to have a terminal on the outskirt of the major centres - in order to receive and break up the trains.
It would be cheaper to ship things by train BUT, if the tracks have not been laid - road trains are the next best thing

Shock - horror, this week the petrol prices are at record highs.

Unleaded 1.43.9

Deisel 157.9

Propane 67.9

These are Brisbane metro prices and Queensland prices at that. Country areas are much worse, and so too in other states. We have the cheapest in the country.

There's a Chevron station up the road from my house where's it's $3.69 per gallon for regular unleaded.

Can't wait for August to drive across Canada to go on my leave before tour....
If I can bloody afford it.

COME ON MUTUAL FUNDS!!!!

We may soon be doing this, if the prices keep rising.....

screw that I just bought a mini bike for a dollar got it running in an hour welded the exhaust and murdered that s*%t out.  best dollar i ever spent, goes like 50 too :p.  And its economical

Regulated gas here on the Rock but still high, $1.339/L for regular SS, Mid Grade @1.369 SS, Premium $1.399 SS, Diesel $1.464 SS/FS

See attached PDF to see how it varies in different parts of the province dated 08-May-2008

Today on the radio, I heard that the price of natural gas is probably going to be going up by 20% around July 1st.
Happy Canada Day to us! :cdn: SNAP!!
