Regular Force Leave of Absence

hi, im reg navy and thinking about taking leave of absence.
Im having a hard time finding info on DIN and this site so im starting a new topic for some questions

Is it possible for reg force to do LOA?
Does there have to be a important reason (ie school) or can it just be personal?
How long could i possible take?
Where can i find more info?

any other info would be helpful

Short answer for you is that yes Reg Force can go on leave without pay and allowances (LWOP) but there has to be a pretty compelling reason.  School usually isn't one of them as there are leaves availiable for personnel and most CoCs are pretty good (not great but good) about letting folk do higher education.

It can taker some time to arrange so be prepared for that.
