Won’t be a Friday. There is no reason to try to bury this story as the RCN likes both boats and there will be substantial economic benefits. The government will be looking to max out on coverage. So announcement in either Halifax or Esquimalt with submarine backdrop. If in Halifax it will come anytime before 13:00 ADT. If Esquimalt then either 08:30 or 09:00 PDT. That allows for coverage on lunchtime news updates in Central Canada. Also probably happen on a Monday or Tuesday, again to allow for maximum domination of that week’s news cycle.
