Reserve 6A Armoured

Hey does any one know anything about the structure of the new course. I was wondering if much has changed. Any info would be great.

No more 6A Armoured, everyones Recce now. The DP system is in effect. First course is DP3 Crew Commander for MCpl's & PLQ qual'd Cpls. For promotion to Sgt (old 6A) DP3 Patrol Commander. Both courses are in a state of flux at the moment and are not avail at this time, but are on the front burner and being worked on.

any idea when they are expected to be released. I have a few MCpls waiting for the Ptl Cmds portion and they are quite anxious to get the course done.

ALL units are in the same boat, and acting lacking promos probably won't get by the various Bge Cmdrs. It won't be released until they decide how and what it will involve.

Current, unissued form:

This is an 11 day crse broken into 3 days theory (10 x 40 min periods/day) and 8 days field trg.

PREREQUISITES:

1. In accordance with Chapter 2 of A-P2-011-R3B/PC-B01 DP 3 Armour Reconnaissance Patrol Commander Course;
a. min rank of MCpl;
b. have completed the DP3 Armour Recce CC crse;
c. be medically fit with a minimum medical profile of 333225; and
d. be recommended by their CO.

COURSE CAPACITY

1. The course capacity is
a.   Max 18;
b.   Min 6; and
c.   Optimum 12.

You will not find it on Documentum, as AITA has not released it pending resolution of the problems being encountered. Hopefully, we should hear more after they hammer away at it next week at the Corps Conference. Check back then.
