Hello, I am sure this topic has been posted before but I can't seem to find it. I am wondering if the requirements for the reserves are different from the regular force in some way. I mean in terms of the medical requirements, CFAT results, fitness etc. Also, if you could give me an idea of how long the process takes, i.e. if I applied now how long would it be until I began my training. Well thank you all for your time and hopefully you can give me an answer.

Enrollment standards are the same. There are too many factors to estimate time between starting and application and starting training, expect the waiting period to be months or years. You will find many examples on the forum showing how long current members of army.ca have waited or have been waiting. As you browse the thread you will also discover the many things that can lead to delays.

Months to years? Oh my...I could be finished my degree by then haha. Anyway thank you for the answer.

103 pages of examples for you, took me about 4-5 months until job offer, however, I know people that have been applying for 2+ years and still haven't gotten in.
Good Luck!
