Can someone tell me more about the Reserves, because i‘m going to be 16 soon and I‘m thinking about joining.

Hey, I just joined the reserves in May...it‘s a lot of fun, I am currently in the Communications Reserve. You have to be 16 to join, have atleast 15 credits, and finished grade 10. You should know about all the physical stuff, and crap like that..it‘s a really good job, and gives u a lot of experience. I am only 16, and it‘s been a life changing experience!

The reserves is a great place to get "beginner‘s experience" for the military. Plus it‘s a great place to meet new friends! I started as a reservist in ‘89 and went into the Regs in ‘95 and being a reservist helped prepare me for what to expect "somewhat" of the reg force. Don‘t be shy, sign as soon as you can!

I am going for it this summer in shilo, manitoba,
I know very little about what exactly people in the comm reserve have to do..
Could you give me an idea about what its like?
