Long story short, I have decided that the ROTP program is not the right route for myself, before joining the program I spent 4 years in the reserves, worked many class B contracts with the regular force and loved it. I have no intent of leaving the CF, I couldnt imagine being anywhere else. I am still in my first year of the program so the option to opt out with no penalty is available. I realize this is almost unheard of, so information on the subject is limited, I've had a talk with a military career councillor, he's told me what I need to do in order to get things moving. I was just wondering if there are any snags or issues that may be cause for concern, or if something like this can be done and dealt with accordingly?
