Neat !

Looks like that tank overhaul series on History TV may have another episode topic if they find out about this!

;D

Would be a short episode.

Tow tank to car wash
Tow tank to gas station
Drive around and pick up chicks

That tank is in mint condition. Even the tracks were turning when they towed it away.

Nyet!

Is not for pick-up chicks!!!!

You pick up babushka!

Strong like bull, smart like tractor!

Hmmm. Might be time to trade in the Pontiac Grand-Am that likes to die every time I try to start it in the rain for something a little more Ruskie. How much is a T-55 going for nowadays, anyone?
:tank: HeeeeHaww!!! Cowpattie!!!

Midget

Hey Stasff Weenie!
I'll pick up chicks if I wanna!! No babushkas here!!! ;)

This is always a good story my cousin out west posted me a link with the same pics about two years ago .  It's amazing in the condition of the tank .    By the way what the heck is supposed to be in lake Simcoe ??

Nope...Landing craft went down I think near Big Bay Point during WWII training.
Fully "Staffed". Now if you were on a sinking vessel, and were geared up for a beach assault, with no threat of enemy.
What would you do to lighten yourself to swim to shore?

I did some looking around when I used to get wet.

If you want something more interesting in Simcoe...the pay barge from the 1800's that left Soldier's bay and never made it to the Trent Severn entrance. There was a big storm recorded at the time.
