Shortest enlistment times?

New to the forums but I have looked around for a while.
Forgive my ignorance but what is the shortest enlistment time possible for a Reg Force soldier?
If this is answered somewhere else by all means close this down ( after you direct me there! )

Zero days - it's simple, just don't sign up!

Under normal circumstances, if joining the regular force, you'd sign a contract for several years. However, during BMQ if you discover that you aren't cut out for the job, you will be given the opportunity to release.

I believe - though a recruiter can confirm this for you - that the Initial Engagement for the infantry is for 3 years.
