sick days

Hello once again,

If a recruit is to fall in one day or over a period of a couple days, say the flu so something that would keep a civilian away from work for a couple days. Well what i‘m getting at is does the army have some sorta sick leave or do you just have to tough it out and go about your regular training and all?

If you‘re sick, you go to the base hospital and see a medic. They‘ll probably give you 2 days bed rest if you need it.

During basic training, though, I would just try and tough it out. Maybe wait till the weekend to go to the hospital if you can. If you miss to many periods in basic you‘ll be re-coursed and start back at the beginning or at the start of your current period/week.

and the staff basically gives up all their free time to run your basic coarse (reserves) so they get kinda pissed if you miss coarse if you‘re "not feeling well". If you get too sick to move while on coarse...well sick parade.
