okay sorry this may be a dumb question but i need to know.

how many of you ground infantry troops wear knee and elbow pads during combat??i know dumb question but can anyone tell me here?? thanks alot :warstory:

I am currently doing SQ and I wear them, not issued or anything, but....I bought some volleyball like kneepads, makes those section attacks more "comfy"...I guess

Edit: I should mention I don't use them in "combat" either...Just on my courses and when I feel like I need them

I've only really seen people in my unit wear them for FIBUA

Haven't used them in "combat", but I used them in FIBUA, platoon attacks in Meaford...me knees aren't too good at the tender age of 18 (thank you, hockey and football... :), so I use them where possible.

I used them all the time in meaford... the training area is horrible (old tank ruts), if you dont wear them you will destroy your knees in a hurry

If you have them, wear them! They will save pain later on in life.
