Special Circumstances...?

Okay, i put in my application a few weeks ago and have not heard from them as to who my RO will be.

I called today and the Sgt there told me that because we were posted down to the USA for 3 years, he was not sure if they would have to do a second security check on me down there. He has spent the last few weeks trying to find that out. :

Is there anyone on here that knows if it would be required or not?

My husband was posted down to the USA as a part of NATO from 07/01-07/04 and as far as he and I can recall all of us had to have a security check done before we were accepted for the posting. Even my 3 month old son at the time even needed his own "dependant of an Official of Canada" passport and security check.

Just an update....

The recruiting officer called me this morning and said my application is going through now and I will be put on priority because of my previous experience and because of my selected trade.

There was some uncertainty on if they needed to run 2 security checks on me because we were in the USA for 3 years, but they have decided to just move along past that and if it needs to be done later, than we will do it then.

Just wanted to let you all know.
