I require as much information in hard copy form if possible on the T17E1 Staghound.

I'm looking for turret specs to interior layouts, driver station and rad op layout and labeling.

If anyone can help me out in my research it would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

If you send me your email address I could send you the part of the T17E1 from the former webpage AFV INTERIORS with pic“s, drawings and such.

Restored Staghound......yummy

I seem to remember Littlefields having one, I will check

AFV Interiors was a truly great site and sadly missed.

As Gunnery Sergeant Hartmann would say "Holy Dogsh&t!!!"

They're not bringing up this "Drag the Staghound hulk out of Holman Marsh and make it into a runner" idea again, are they?

Having seen some of the before and after pictures of AFV restorations, you would be surprised what they can do with lots of time, blood, sweat, tears and money.

Nope.Ā  It's an Army requirement for future concepts for the Armour Corps, in case the Leo 2s don't work out...Ā  >:D

(or should I not give procurement staff any ideas?)

Nope. That idea is dead.

This one is complete and in dire need of a tear down and rebuild. Engines are getting done by a professional from what I've been told. Just in the process of gathering information and getting things ready before we make our assessment of what is actually required.

Everything is in quite good condition actually vice the condition of the Ferret when we cracked it open for the first time.

If everything goes according to plan there really should be no reason why it isn't up and running within a year.

Great news to hear another one will be up and running, the engines are twin 6cyl GMC correct?

Yes....and they look in rather good shape. It should be somewhat of an easy rebuild for the ones doing it.

The harder part it the wiring, brake and hydraulic system for the turret.
