Can anyone tell me if summer dress is still in effect as of 19 Sept 06.

I have to go to base, and as I am a CiviU, I do not know if it still in effect.

Thanks.

Isn't it always winter in North Bay?  ;D

Seasonal dress changes are dependent on the base, but most are scheduled for October.  To be on the safe side, call the BOR and doublecheck.  Or, if you have your unit's website, check there.  If they post their routine orders on the site, it will be in them for sure.

HAHA! Very true.  Even more true where I am going to school, in Sudbury.

Thanks for the help!

Sleeves go up... sleevs go down.... got to love the combat dress.

If your wearing like parade dress...bring your tunic too?
And like the person above said..sleeves up or sleeves down

I believe that summer dress is from the first Monday in April till the last Monday in October but its best to check with the individual unit.

I have never done a parade without a tunic the only thing I vary is the shirt. Winter I use long sleeve, spring/summer short sleeve.

The day is complete, I have learned something new!  I was getting ready to post that you always wear your long sleeve shirt with your tunic, but decided to look it up to confirm.

Ref: CF Dress Instructions Chapter 6, Annex A, para 5b.
b. Long-sleeved shirts:
(1) shall be worn by navy members, and
(2) may be ordered worn by army and air
force members.

Regadless Rocketryan wouldn't know about CF dress Reg's as he is a cadet.

Rocketryan stay in your lane
