Surgery Prior To Release

Met with a Dr. at the CDU today and he informed me that I require surgery to repair a recent injury.  This is going to happen within the next 45 days (+/-) with 6 weeks recovery time after.  Release date 3B is to happen 20 Mar 13 and prior to departing the CDU, the staff said - no worries you'll be covered.  Not sure what they meant by this?  I called the release section this afternoon and unfortunately no one was there.  Anyone familiar with the potential impact on the release date, if any?  I'm not looking to extend and am rather content to get on my merry way.  Thanks in advance.

As long as everything is processed before your release date it's all covered by BlueCross including all follow ups.
