To answer Mayor Miller’s Question; Yes, I have held the hands of victims. As a Paramedic I hold them every day.

One in particular I need to share. I was transporting a patient to hospital that was being consumed by cancer and we were talking to pass the time. He started to get teary eyed and I asked if the tears were due to his cancer.

They weren’t. He admitted that he was fearful that left wing politicians like, Mayor Miller, were trying to take Canadians down the same political path that his father fought against in World War II. This Man served Canada with distinction in the Canadian Armed Forces; as did his father before him.

I assured him that Canadians would not forget the sacrifices made by so many to keep us and others free from Dictatorships and Socialist tyrants. The politics if disarming a nation, Toronto’s secret “Executive Council” decisions, new proposed sweeping powers for the mayor?

Mayor Miller’s history in power has made it clear that if you oppose him, you loose your job, your livelihood, your sport, your business. Is Democracy not the freedom to voice opinions and discus the best solutions; without fear of reprisals?

As for history; would the world be a better place if more than a few stood against a tyrant in the 1930’s. To deny that, is to deny the Holocaust.

Why is Toronto Council afraid to stand up to the Bully? You are stronger together against him.

The actions of Mayor Miller and his thirst for power and control is more than a stain on the sacrifices of our Veterans.

Please don’t forget their sacrifice then as today’s men and women make our generation.
Remember them!
Stand against him, Stand together for freedom now!

Maybe I'm not in the loop or just plain missing something, but what is the context of this letter?

Toronto and Ontario Politics.

Mayor Miller and his initial call to Ban Hand guns in Canada that has progressed to all Firearms, Gun Clubs, Stores, Businesses related to Firearms in Toronto. Support from the Ontario Liberal Govenment on the same with trying to add to the Mayors sweeping authority and power without democracy.

www.torontothebad.com can fill you in if you would like.

Thanks for the link.

The guy seems like an ignorant ass.

And his executive possy....

Julian Fantino(now Chief of the Ontario Provincial Police) was out spoken against Miller on some things, Miller "traded" places with another council member on the Police services board to get rid of him. As an example.

That link shows some of the comments made about our friends in the states as not being welcome in Toronto.

As well as the actual facts about firearms as compaired to Miller's skeud ones.

Miller has been grandstanding firearms to avoid the fact that he cannot solve the economic and social problems in his city.

It was supposed to be a 3 year term, he's pushing the Primier to extend it to 4 as I understand it.

There are so many little hidden agendas it hard to keep track of them all.
