The City of Toronto dispatched a convoy of 50 Paramedics to NYC. But, they were cancelled en route just after crossing the US border. Not required.

My buddies and I always considered the U.S.A ppl as brothers and sisters to  us. I made some good buddies with the US forces. Heck, when I was in the former Yugo and went to the PX at Camp Pleso (near Zagreb) to pick up north american goods and one day I was told no foreigners no longer allowed. Russian an former east block servicemen were buying "mementos" at a great pace.

Anyway, the clerk informed me "no prob. you're a cousin"..

You guys and gals are great. Thanks for being our best friend and a great neighbour.

When they hit the World Trade Centre they attacked the world. That included Canada, of course, so we were all in it together:
