"The definitions of manoeuvre warfare given it by its advocates are philosophically poor and are an impediment to understanding." The above are not my thoughts - but it echoes them exactly.
The origins of modern envelopement, although they talk at an Army level, its concept goes all the way down to the lowest.
Very enjoyable - as a desk jockey its like suddenly flipping on all the lights of the Dark Room of Tactics.
