It sure is, I loved Brest.

Only problem is, the French keep their aircraft carrier in the Med at Toulon. And I wouldn't want to be posted there.

OGBD, two reasons, 1) it is the only foreign aircraft to have integrated into operations on a USN CVN so the U.S. in no way can complain that Canada can’t *interoperate with the U.S.; and 2) it keeps the fine tradition of Canada buying twin-engine carrier borne aircraft as it’s front line fighter.
