SAAB is talking about doubling its production of Gripen E/F to 25-30 aircraft per year. Lockmart on the other hand is producing 156 F-35 fighters per year!

Second observation is there is no mention of possible sales to Canada or possible producing the Gripen in Canada.

LocMart is also both upgrading and producing new F-16 Block 70 and 72 aircraft in numbers larger than Saab’s Gripen production
(unsure when LocMart started as originally the F-16 was a GD product

I got distracted and forgot to finish my thought above.
I have been hoping that Saab is happy with the other successes and has decided that trying to reimagine the RCAF Next Gen Fighter at this point is simply throwing good money after bad.
