Speaking of fighter pilots and vanity there was a myth about a pilots(possibly French Canadian) copious amounts of volatile hair cream causing an explosion in his pressurized cockpit. Episode of Mythbusters looked into it.

Second observation is there is no mention of possible sales to Canada or possible producing the Gripen in Canada.

(unsure when LocMart started as originally the F-16 was a GD product
I got distracted and forgot to finish my thought above.
I have been hoping that Saab is happy with the other successes and has decided that trying to reimagine the RCAF Next Gen Fighter at this point is simply throwing good money after bad.
