Reading through the thread, that sounds pretty bleak. When Russian Army service in Ukraine is considered a better job prospect, you’ve got problems.

Yeah, that says a lot about the state of things. When conscripted service in a brutal conflict looks like the “lesser evil” compared to the alternatives at home, you know the socio-economic situation has really hit rock bottom.
