When I looked at the web site I thought that I would choke...after 3 tours in N.I....and I am from Ireland to boot.

Yeah, definitely not interested in going to listen to Sinn Fein

Sooo many people.
Who do I owe a pint? ;)

I'll be there... but I don't drink alcohol.  ;)

Incidentally my 5 coins are in Toronto since I'm still moving, so
anyone who coins the chaplain, well, I can't guarantee your salvation.  ;D

Dammit, I've been feeding Rice a bunch of info on joining my regiment, and unfortunately I have to miss the opportunity to meet him and a bunch of other Army.ca regulars. We of course parade tonight- albeit at the same place he's getting sworn.

Rice, when tonight are you getting sworn in? I'd like a chance to at least say hi and welcome in person- you're imrpessed me as a pretty cool and smart guy who's willing to learn but not afraid to chime in either. Will there just be you, or a group of people in civvies in the drill hall at a particular time? I gather that you already know a number of the folks here.

I've gotta head out soon- a fast reply to this would be appreciated. Regards.

Something's popped up and I won't be able to swing by after all.
Rice..... good luck lad.

Hopefully I'll see everyone on the 22nd at Darcy's

Cheers

Well Rice, you should be official now!!  Cheers and welcome!

I dropped in but couldn't find you all, and none of the barmaids claimed to have seen 'a large man in a kilt', alas!

I hope everyone had a great time and Rice I owe you a beer!

We didn't get there until after 2100 Hrs due to the time it took to swear young Rice in.  We stayed for a short time, but when we left, Rice and Sig_Des with some companions from the Camerons were going at it.

Hey!

To everyone who showed up: Thanks for coming out! Much appreciated! :D
So, I guess its time for me to up those standards.

Once again, thanks!

Hey, it was great briefly meeting you guys at Cartier last night- And Rice, welcome to the forces. Here's hoping a year from now I'll be buying you a drink and welcoming you into the regiment for real.

Congratulations, and best of luck.
