TN2IC VOT?

I had flirted with the idea of going Armour.. somedays here I am not happy at my work place. It was always my dream, as a child to be in the Armour Corps. May be I am just to use to the field. I wonder if my mind would change if I was posted back to a field unit... ie 2 SVC BN.

I think what it is... that I "feel" there is a two tier system at my work place. How should I deal with it? I feel like I'm on my last straw with it. Would VOTing solve it? Or am I just having a few bad days (weeks) with it. I even volunteer for all the disliked tasking that almost destroy my family. Just to show the folks I am a team player.

I guess I'm just upset these days.
I need my screech now.

I spent many years in the Armour Corps before VOTing to my current trade.  I loved it, especially the comraderie and espirit de corps.  I would just recommend giving lots of thought to your reasons for VOT.  If there are things that are peeving you off at you present job, there may be other ways of addressing those issues than OTing.  I've known lots of guys who VOT'd because they were pissed off only to find they weren't all that crazy about their new trade and later regretted their decision.

Another thing to consider is the cbt arms Op tempo these days.  You mentioned the taskings you volunteered for almost destroyed your family.  You can be guaranteed that you will have training and possibly multiple deployments that will be a strain on the family as well..
