Toronto Reserve Forces April 1st

Hello everyone,

I talked to the recruiter in Toronto back in January about recruiting and he said that they were not processing any applications until April 1st. He recommend that i had in my application after that date. Does anyone know if i will be able to do my training this summer if i get called?

Contact the Regimental Recruiter they will have all the info. RCs don't always get all the info from the different units.

Hello everyone,

Im 17 and enrolling into reserves through CFRC Toronto however the recruiting process seems inactive. Heres the situation:
I've completed my CFAT and qualified in a majority of the occupations and the officer recommended me to try ROTP, that was in December when I did my CFAT now its close to April and I called February and still haven't received a date for my PT, Medical and Interview I was hoping to attend training in summer. Could there be any delays or other possible explanations? The CFRC seems understaffed and I was hoping to finish training in summer so i can finish high school then possibly enroll in RMC with the pretext of being in the reserves.I read a lot of posts from current and past recruiters demanding patience, but close to 4 months of no reply?

^^^^^ This is because no one has gone over your application. I talked to Sgt. Xxxxxx (the recruiter) and he said that at earliest April 1st is when they will start going applications. In other words if you have hand it the application before now, no one has looked at it. And heres the thing, I asked Sgt. Xxxxxx if I should hand in my application when i talked to him (January 2010) or should I wait until now and he said to wait until now because all the applications would be filed away and they would first process the applications that are handed in after April 1st.

Sgt Xxxxxx's name has been removed for PERSEC reasons.

Wow, check all the other 'I'm trying to join' threads. Today will likely not answer any questions due to everyone looking at budget release/constraint. No one is being ignored, many trades are also waiting to see a lift on the 'budget restraint'.

I would highly suggest your change your screen name from your service number to something else.

Also did you have to post the same question twice?
