Training before BMQ

So I was just sworn into the reserves yesterday and I am curious what training will consist of until I get put on course in the summer. Our company parades every Thursday and 1 weekend a month and since I was enrolled after the start of the local BMQ I have to be put on course in the summer at Meaford. So what will I be doing on those nights and weekends before then ?

Not yet I will next Thursday to get a definite answer was just wondering if anybody had experience with this.

Every unit's training schedule is different. You'll just have to be patient.

Even after over forty years in, I still have to be patient (sometimes).

You aren't trained on how to even tie your boots up yet and salute with the correct hand.

Relax some, keep your eyes open and mouth closed and enjoy the easy time  ;D
