Fraser was a dumpster fire himself, both as Immigration Minister (horrible record of supporting Afghan refugees) and Housing…
Clearly, Manitobans are experiencing violence differently than Trudeau.
Rumblings were that Ford, Smith and Kinew sat down with Freeland for a 1:1 during their last get together, and read her the riot act. At that point, I think her heart was only 1/4 in with Team Feminism…

The more I consider this morning’s news the more blown away I am.

- One of the innermost of the inner circle
- She did this by surprise
- She was to have given the economic statement hours later
- “Costly political gimmicks”
This was the opposite of a respectful parting of political ways. This was exceptionally graceless, insulting, and a repudiation of Trudeau. It cannot be seen as anything but. She picked her time, place, and manner to throw him under the bus.

So Freeland resigned and that means Champagne is the designated finance minister. As this CTV clip shows, he didn’t know. I’m told he has refused to read the FES today. The second back-up finance minister is Randy Boissonault according to the list which has not been updated!
