ps. Love the CTV photoshop! šŸ˜‚
Check the photo credit - gotta blame The Canadian Press, not CTV :)

Also, another CP photo from what appears to be the same venue (can't tell if it's the same event but matching shirts increases the odds) appears to be similarly "photoshopped" for the not-usually-pro-Team-Red National Post ;)

... PP is actually 6ā€™3ā€ to JTā€™s 6ā€™2ā€ ...
Don't know about the figures, but even though the photo is screwed re: perspective, JT seems to be just a titch taller (given he seems to be hunching a bit) in this one (also from The Canadian Press - source)

All that said, does it really matter to anyone other than those of us with not enough to do than to find this stuff? :)

A quick search on DDG to the question, How tall is Pierre Poliviere?, returns various results from 5'5" to 6'2. Out of 5 or 6 hits, there was no concensus.

Okay, I rescind my ā€˜Jā€™accuse!ā€™ of shenanigans with photoshop. I spent some free time waiting for my connection in YVR to review the photo I thought was Ɯbershenaniganedā€¦I thought Poilievre had been p-shopped in front of Trudeauā€¦turns out it was a shadow on Trudeauā€™s blazer that I took to be Poilievreā€™s shoulder in front of JTā€¦turns out heā€™s aft and abeam JTā€¦whew, Great Height Wars of 2024 averted! šŸ‘šŸ¼

Well obviously they must all wear bright coloured suits from now on, so as to nullify said shadow-shenanigans. :sneaky:

Trudeau and his 'Progressive' chums aren't well like by business, and here's yet another reason why ...

More than half of B.C. businesses say they are impacted by rising crime

More than half of small businesses in B.C. say they have been directly impacted by crime over the past year.

A new report from the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) found the share of small businesses reporting crime directly impacting them has jumped to 57 per cent in 2024.

That number is up 10 percentage points from the previous year.

The most common crimes cited by businesses include littering, loitering and theft.

There is a foolish bunch who claim they can stop crime by just having tea and talking about why the poor misbegotten souls commit crime - its you colonists of course!!!

Why is their height a thing?
It isnā€™t. It was an about a photo that was GTG thought was doctored and now we canā€™t unsee what he showed us.

Their height was only relevant to the discussion in that context.

But that was some impressive Peter Jackson special effects when looked at a certain way.

Mind you, none of the other leaders are all that great either. Having said that, I think he should resign even though both my wife and I are long-time liberal supporters. He has reached his level of incompetence even if he does wear fancy socks.
That.

Couldn't agree more.

Are you saying PP is a Hobbit?
