It’s difficult to even keep track of the legal challenges and reversals right now. Three federal district courts have ruled the birthright citizenship EO illegal. Another federal judge has just said the government appears to not be complying with the order to hold off on federal program funding freezes. I think a separate one has ordered restoration of the status quo for NIH funding. There’s the licking out of DOGE employees from treasury… I know there are others.
These are all of an interim, interlocutory nature in order to give courts time to receive and consider submissions on the merits.
