Trump administration 2024-2028

Unless you are soaking your teeth in demineralized water, the exposure isn’t going to cause issues that can’t be fixed by brushing one’s teeth with a fluoride toothpaste. If you’re having mineral loss issues from your ingestion of drinking water, you are going to have a lot more health issues than just teeth.

The same people likely to install RO systems are the ones most likely to be drinking 2 liters of water a day. And brushing their teeth in the RO water.

For the record 2 liters of water does not actually mean 2 liters of water. It means 2 liters of water from all sources. Eat 1 kg of lettuce and you will get half of your 2 liter target.

Yes he/RNC paid off one of the accusers.
Except there is more and video evidence.

You’re backing the wrong horse here - sometimes a scumbag is just a scumbag.
I'll need to see real, proven evidence of those assertions before I consider any course of actions. Not leaked stuff to media, not innuendo, not second hand hearsay.
And not a single thing from Schiff.

He retired so they could hold a special election for his house seat before the inauguration. It takes 8 weeks.
That might hold water if Elise Stefanik also stepped down but so far she hasn’t. But she also didn’t have an ethics probe into her coming to light.

And for sex trafficing minors to boot; guy is even scummier than his hair style and mannerisms suggest.

Deleted and relocated because I am an idiot.

I had my annual dental a week ago, the dentist literally brought up that because of the fluoride in toothpaste CAF members aren't entitled to fluoride treatment at cleanings in private clinics... But removing it from city water is going to bring back cholera and witch trials.

I'd be interested in seeing how that restriction is worded. Couldn't find any reference to it in any of the Medavie Blue Cross bulletins or payment schedules.

Eligible dental services mean services listed hereafter, when rendered by a dental officer/dentist or dental specialist, or rendered by a dental hygienist/dental assistant, (or rendered by a licensed denturologist/ denturist) under the direct supervision /prescription of a dental officer/dentist or dental specialist.

Eligible dental services include:
Preventive Services
  1. oral hygiene instructions;
  2. dental cleaning;
  3. fluoride treatment;
  4. caries control;
  5. pit & fissure sealants;
  6. diet & nutritional counseling;
  7. group instruction;
  8. sports mouth guards; and
  9. other preventive services.

Nor is it mentioned in exclusions/limitations.

Dental Services Excluded from Entitlement
Unless specifically required by the CAF, eligible personnel will not be entitled to coverage for the following items:
  1. dental examinations required by a third party;
  2. any service provided for purely cosmetic purposes, unless required to restore that caused by accident or service-related traumatic injury; and
  3. treatments or therapies viewed by medical/dental authorities as controversial or not scientifically validated.
Dental care limitations
Limitations on the type, level and frequency of services are applied by the local senior dental authority based on selection criteria and prioritization guidelines developed by the Director Dental Services on behalf of the Chief Dental Officer and the Director General Health Services. These limitations are designed to ensure that a comprehensive range of appropriate dental services are provided to entitled personnel based on professionally assessed need.

For eligible CAF personnel, major dental care services (major restorative, major prosthodontic, orthodontics and surgeries linked to orthodontic or major prosthodontic treatment plans) are usually limited to service-related injury necessitating rehabilitation, or dysfunctional occlusion or a dental disability related to a malocclusion that necessitates intervention.

The provision of major dental care services warrants additional considerations and caution should be exercised before:
  1. initiating major dental care services for personnel who have not completed their occupation’s Basic Level Qualification Course due to the inherent training demands and the impending posting upon course completion;
  2. initiating major dental care services for personnel who are expected to be posted before treatment completion; and
  3. initiating major dental care services for personnel who are posted to OUTCAN locations or to isolated locations within Canada not supported by full-time dental detachments. This includes personnel who are being considered for selection to such postings.
When possible, consideration may be given to offer major dental care services in a phased approach when mitigating issues around geographic postings and availability during occupational training.

It wouldn't surprise me if there was a limitation on some services when provided by a non CF provider, however Blue Cross (pain in the arse that they were notwithstanding) usually adheres to the exact letter of the contract/instructions they have with DND. If all your dental services are being provided by an outside clinic, I would bring the matter to CF dental authorities for clarification.
