Did you even read the article? The bill as a whole isn't the issue, it's the part where they want to make voting on certain policies illegal: "a provision that creates a Class E felony for public officials who vote to adopt or enact sanctuary policies." Think about that; they want to make it illegal for duly elected officials to vote their conscience if their conscience doesn't agree with them.
