Trump administration 2024-2028

I have some serious doubts that the phone is made in the US at that price. We'll know soon enough, the second they come onto the market someone is going to crack one open for a thorough look. To think Carter had to give up his peanut farm.

And the USA didn't want Chinese 5G phone tech because of the concern that personal information and a direct conduit of misinformation will be available to a malevolent actor.

To borrow from Newnan. . .

How the fuck can people defend this corruption?

Freedom Mobile. Plan is now $36 monthly ($44 less $5 for prepaid and $3 for no device credit, aka I own my phone).

If you want to change over, send me a message and I can give you a discount code so we both save...
I left Telus a few years ago for Freedom Mobile and have absolutely nothing but fantastic things to say about Freedon Mobile

I also have my home high speed internet through Freedom - and because I get both my cell service and internet service through them, I get a discount on both

I sincerely recommend for anybody looking to change providers to check out Freedom Mobile

I think I pay approx the same as @dapaterson for my phone, and like $45 for my high speed internet. I never have outages or tech issues. Always fast. And their customer service has been on a whole other level (with me anyway)

No, just trying to prevent another threads inevitable devolution to hats and theoretical division formats haha.
You asked how people can defend this corruption. The answer was easy; the same way we Canadians do.

Canadians act like we're better than the US in everything we do, and think we permanently hold the moral and political high-ground.

I don’t think that’s the case at all. We just have a system that has a rules that are much more tight. Corruption still exists. But it’s at a much smaller scale that it seems insignificant.

There is a significant difference with something like staying at the aga khans island on vacation vs a custom jumbo jet being given as a gift from Qatar for example. None pass the smell test though.

Either way, as much as I see the hypocrisy of people calling out Carney’s holdings (with a lot of ignorance on how that works btw) while defending a POTUS who won’t reveal his tax returns and his own holdings while running crypto scams and gaudy product placements the fact is that the US is another country and it’s their business if they want to become an Oligarchy.
