You really want Canada to lose this don’t you…
Don't need to believe me, you can see the photos US border protection provided to BBC back in 2018 at a migrant detention center. The camp in the middle of the swamp was too extreme for even Florida judges that shut it down.Is all that just like all the rest of the long list of fallacys related to Trump? Over fed coi fish, Russia collusion, destroy democracy by building addition on WH... blah blah blah.
Everyone will be ok. Really.
MM is all in on DT to sink MC to help PP.You really want Canada to lose this don’t you...
That is pretty much my understanding of it.MM is all in on DT to sink MC to help PP.
I don't think appeasing bullies ever works out for the victims. If Canada is going to get beat up, and lets face it we are, I'd rather we at least keep our dignity. You really want Canada to lose this don’t you…
MMDS for MC FBs BH about PP.MM is all in on DT to sink MC to help PP.
Who is MM?MM is all in on DT to sink MC to help PP.
I think he's throwing shade at Mario MikeWho is MM?
I don't think appeasing bullies ever works out for the victims. If Canada is going to get beat up, and lets face it we are, I'd rather we at least keep our dignity.
Carney shouldn't apologize for the ad that was it was 110% accurate.
Pretty sure he’s referring to Maple Maga.Who is MM?
There are no contemporary comparators to the Holocaust. But the MAGA approach to governance does compare to Nazism. It doesn’t matter that that they have not yet attained the same level of authoritarianism, ethno-nationalism, militarization, partisan subordination of courts, etc.People think that by comparing contemporary figures to Nazis, or contemporary events to the Holocaust, they're accentuating the badness of contemporary figures. What they achieve is to desensitize people to what Nazis really were, and what the Holocaust really was.
Propaganda posters were a feature in the US and elsewhere during WW II. Notwithstanding FDR's occasionally expressed appreciation of Italian-style (actual, by definition) fascism and some policies in the '30s that might be considered at least fascism-adjacent, the US was never (and still is not) a fascist country. It's possible to occasionally make grave human rights errors, like putting Japanese into internment camps or jumping the gun with emergency powers to round up mostly harmless protestors or passing over-broad legislation to go snooping into people's private communications and affairs, without being full-on fascist. But when are using the same rhetoric from the late 1930s, down to propaganda posters, and slogans that allowed the Nazis to implement things like the Holocaust, we shouldn't mention that because they haven't actually genocided anyone yet?
The same crowd has already put little kids in dog kennel prisons and deported them to countries without their parents, and was building a concentration camp in a swamp until it got shut down, so it's not like there aren't obvious parallels. ICE chasing down brown people demanding papers, and arresting actual American citizens anyway because they 'look illegal' is current events.
I've always HATED the use of the word 'Alien' in the US. Straight away its an attempt to de-humanize a person by associating anyone who is not an American is therefore an 'Alien' and thus a non-human. Its absolutely sickening.Criminal Alien Program
www.ice.gov
The Criminal Alien Program (CAP) supports U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in executing its mission to protect the homeland through the arrest and removal of aliens who threaten the safety of our nation’s communities and the integrity of U.S. immigration laws. CAP focuses on the identification, arrest, and removal of Incarcerated aliens at federal, state, and local levels, as well as at-large criminal aliens.
Through CAP, ERO takes criminal aliens into custody in a controlled environment, decreasing risks to officers, aliens, and the community. When ERO directly assumes custody of a criminal through CAP, it prevents the individual from being released back into the community where they may re-offend.
This sounds like a good program to me and is exactly what I would want my government to do.
Go ICE!

So you believe at face value what Trump says?
Rwanda is the closest thing in terms of scale and barbarism. The sheer number of one ethnic group that was slaughtered in under a year is mind numbing. There are no contemporary comparators to the Holocaust. But the MAGA approach to governance does compare to Nazism. It doesn’t matter that that they have not yet attained the same level of authoritarianism, ethno-nationalism, militarization, partisan subordination of courts, etc.
The fact that there there is significant rhyming in the respective consolidation of power is something that merits discussion. The fact that there has is now a substantially politicized & militarization branch of police is something that merits discussion. Mass deportations and attempts to establish concentration camps is something that merits discussion.
I understand the first step to healing is to honestly and accurately acknowledge your problem. And It is too late to call a spade a spade if you insist on waiting for it to dig the first mass grave of a Holocaust (that may or may not ever come) while watching it entrench authoritarianism.
Well, it's not like POTUS47 hasn't been precise, measured and accurate in all his statements in the past, right? So you believe at face value what Trump says?
"Except for all these things that haven't actually transpired yet, they're fascist!"There are no contemporary comparators to the Holocaust. But the MAGA approach to governance does compare to Nazism. It doesn’t matter that that they have not yet attained the same level of authoritarianism, ethno-nationalism, militarization, partisan subordination of courts, etc.
It’s actually the proper word from English common law when the concepts were phrased in Latin, and the Naturalization Act of 1790 was copied from British law as set out in BlackStones Commentaries in 1765.I've always HATED the use of the word 'Alien' in the US. Straight away its an attempt to de-humanize a person by associating anyone who is not an American is therefore an 'Alien' and thus a non-human. Its absolutely sickening.
Wonder what it will take for allegations of MM acting like a fifth column to start? That is pretty much my understanding of it.
