What lessons, one wonders. That having a lot of armoured formations based on a handful of organization templates and with a few equipment types and a lavish logistical tail is better than having fewer formations with bewildering assortments of domestic and captured equipment that are constrained by fuel and ammo shortages?

I don’t see this as humorous. Garten sounds like a sick, perverted little prick who would do anything to get more power, not just in his state of Indiana but to eventually take his politics on the road nationwide. I wouldn’t even be surprised if his mention of “The North” refers to the politics of Pinkoland…that area to the north of the U.S. border. What’s going on in the U.S. is not going to end when Trump’s current or possibly next term of office ends. So much outright hatred going on. Makes me wonder…if a friendly neighbour develops a split personality (dissociative identity disorder) — one good and the other very bad —can you ever really and truly trust that person again?Apparently some (all?) of these pictures are AI generated.

No.
You cannot.
The US electorate has proven that they cannot be trusted.
The only way Canada/the world can trust the USA ever again is if the Republican party purges MAGA and even then, the electorate needs to prove that the MAGA party isn't a electoral possibility.
But seeing as the MAGA takeover of the Republican party happened a long time ago, that is very unlikely to happen, thus no matter how nice the Americans pretend to be when MAGA isn't in power, the fact that one election cycle can turn all of that on its head means that they cannot be trusted.
But by all means, lets buy their planes....

IMHO, it will take a two, if not four successive Democrat wins to fully purge MAGA from the Republican party. It will take a generation to undo the harm done by the current administration. The respect lost by the american people will not be easily won back.
