Not sure if this is the right forum....

Does anyone know the UAB dimensions for shipping to afghanistan? We were given them on course, however I copied them down wrong and they are not listed anywhere that I could see.

As a "civilian" (and CIC officer) I don't get a barrack box so have to find another appropriate subsitute.

(also if anyone knows where the CMTT is in Esquimalt, that'd be lovely, I haven't been able to call the base yet)

I can tell you that the CMTT is in Bldg 66.

I'm not sure on the dimensions, but on my UAB form I'm allowed up to 187.5 lbs. I'll check tomorrow or maybe someone else can shed a little light on it better.

For my UAB form it just says 65kg but doesn't give the dimensions.

Thanks for checking :)

What we have for our instructions is two MOBs, combined maximum of 60kg (133lbs), including the weight of the MOBs themselves.

Not sure of authorized dimensions, but I can tell you that the MOBs themselves have the following interior dimensions:

27.70" x 20.98" x 15.50" (70.3 x 53.3 x 39.4 cm)

My apologies for the hijack, buy i'm just in a curious mood... how does a CIC officer get on a tour to KAF? Unless I read your post wrong...

I'm speshul!

Actually, I'm going as a "civilian" with PSP/CFPFSS....but still remaining a CIC type (but acting in the capacity, and only in the capacity of civilian with PSP).

and unfortunately I don't get issued a barrack box for either (although some "civilians" did on temp issue)
