I've check today with no luck. What should I do next? I spoke to a person name "Jeff" at the Halifax VAC. Should I get my lawyer on stand by? I find my experience with VAC very disaffection.
You may have more luck with your Member of Parliament.

That’s no joke. A minister of the Crown will be queried by the MP.You may have more luck with your Member of Parliament.
Totally normal for MPs to make queries on behalf of constituents for government administrative silliness. Not that the MP likely personally sees it or touches it much, but their staff process those things a fair bit. That’s no joke. A minister of the Crown will be queried by the MP.
I can't tell if this is tongue-in-cheek or not...but VAC personnel from the pictured office building, the Daniel J. MacDonald Building moved out at least two years ago, into various office building around Charlottetown. At this point three-plus years ago, we were all working remotely anyway, so shutting down DJM would not be impacting services now...This is a photo of VAC offices in Charlottetown on 04 Nov 2024. They are having some major construction going on. This may be the cause of some delays.
