What the security level are for the MOC 291 & 227?

Does anyone know what the security level are for the MOC 291 & MOC 227?

• Security Level I
• Security Level II
• Security Level III

I believe that the MOC 291 is Level III !

On average, how long does it take to pass the security clearance for these military occupations? (Regular Force)

I'm 30 years old ...

• I never lived outside Canada ...
• I always lived in Quebec City (since I was born) ...

• I live at the same address from 1975 to 1993 ...
• I live at the same address since 1993 ...

• I don't have any juvenile records ...
• I don't have any criminal records ...

        I assume the trade 227 is the old rad tech so it depends where you are employed as to what security clearance is required.  Out of 30 years I did about 20 years in the old CFSRS system and had level three although at times required compartmental clearances depending on the project. The clearance could take up to 1 year, depends on workload of clearance angency and priority of the job they need you to do.

291 is Level III and 227 is Level II.  Clearance time is anywhere from a few months and up as it all depends on how busy they are.

Don't worry about clearence level...  they'll get you what you need, clearances are handled *after* joining.
