When will those foolish people in Ottawa who decide foriegn policy and where we should deploy our troops (like me...) by what is the current news story on CNN? Right now here in Petawawa we have just returned from our Brigade training ex in Wainwright, and many about 1/2 the Brigade is training for Afganistan, 2/3 is getting ready for Bosnia in Oct and the remaining 1/6 of the Brigade is still on IRU for LFCA. Then They want people for where? Congo, Palistine, Golan, Alert, Iraq, and/or Dart missions where eve.....
When will it end?

When the canadian public realizes how overworked and underequipped our military is and puts pressure on our beloved government to stop this nonsense.

When the world no longer needs Canadian presence and leadership?

We had an operational tempo like this 10 yrs ago as well: missions like UNFICYP, Golan, Somalia, Croatia, Bosnia, and Germany was to be closed out...all in a couple years.
Look at what happened then...

Hopefully we won‘t have those problems resurface though because the missions are not at all as stressfull, and the Leadership (Senior Officiers) still remember what was bad back then.

Army Medic - 1/2 + 2/3 + 1/6 = 8/6

(3/6 + 4/6 + 1/6)

Did you learn math in Ottawa?

:D

Just teasing you - I take it you meant to say 1/3 instead of 2/3?

Your point is well taken, however. Good luck to you wherever you end up going.

Thanks Micheal,

If I was goood in math in High school, I‘d be a civilian Doctor, not an Army medic.... :D

I think the point is clear, we‘re over committed, and trying to add more...

LOL!

I‘d be really freaked out if he did though. :D

Your math answer 8/6 is not complete because it can be decreased to 4/3=1 1/3
