Which reserve unit?

Im going to sign up for reserve this summer. I've talked to a couple of ex-reservist and fulltime CF members, and was told about the differences there is among units.

I'd like to join a reserve unit around Montreal that is geared more toward physical training than toward ceremonial/parade.
Any suggestions?

Oh and also,there's a possibility that I join today, so what kind of identification must I bring with me?

Depends on what trade you want as well. My dad used to be part of the Blackwatch in Montreal as a cadet, then reservist & piper....Like I said it depends on the trade you want (& if you can handle wearing a kilt!!  ).
