I am trying to find out some info for my grandfather he will be 96 in a week. he was in 3rd anti tank he would like to find pictures or see if any of the vets are still around besides him.

You should start by ordering a copy of his service record while he can still sign the letter requesting it for himself. If he orders it, there won't be any deletion of information based on privacy issues.
