Canada outlaws another 179 types of firearms, announces classification review
The Liberal government has outlawed another 179 firearm varieties, adding to the list of prohibited guns it considers too dangerous for use by hunters or sport shooters.

Brutal. Remaking the classification system is definitely them bannning all semi auto outright. Probably also anything with a detachable mag. Feels particularly stupid given that if they had publicly backed off they might have been able to drag some conservative voters over who are spooked by PP. Any anti gun folks would alreadybe voting red. This will only push people away.

Lord Love a Duck!! Some of the models are museum pieces! One piece (Beretta 1918/30) was first produced in 1918, over a hundred years ago. A couple other firearms are of WW II vintage.
I guess not really surprising as they've banned everything else.

Yeah, I was thinking of picking one up, to replace my now illegal Ruger PC Carbine, but I figure it's inevitable it gets banned at some point. Someone probably saw Henry and went "lever gun". That's how mentally deficient that crowd is.
