I take no position on the poster, just the video is what I'm interested in.
Kirk is a very, very prominent Conservative figure in the U.S. and already rhetoric is ramping right up. This is going to really turn up the heat even further, which America decidedly does not need. I fully expect retaliatory violence.
ETA: Yeah that was a ton of blood immediately. He was probably unconscious in seconds and dead in a minute or two. I suspect “critical condition” means “still notifying next of kin”.

No. It was a monstrous act.
Yup. My fear is that with each act of politically motivated violence, someone just as unhinged on the other side inches closer to their own violent extremist act, further motivated by additional retaliatory intent. Each instance makes America more permissive of political violence overall.

All of the adversary info ops bots are going to be going wild with this. Watch how much rhetoric we see advocating reciprocal violence against Democrats (it’s already started). Enemies will absolutely leverage this even to further fracture the U.S.
